THE PROCESS
If you select us as your builder, we will prepare a contract most appropriate for the size and scope of your project. For larger projects we use a contract in AIA format. It includes the list of Plans and Specifications, and Scope of Work accurately describing your project. Prior to making a change to the project we'll prepare a Change Order for your approval detailing the specific change, associated cost, and time impact if any. You’ll always know your project’s current contract amount and Scope of Work. With each Request for Payment, we will provide Releases of Lien from subcontractors and significant suppliers for whom money was drawn in the preceding Request for Payment.
Chris gives his own personal attention to each customer through every phase of the project. As your architectural design is finalized, he develops a detailed cost estimate for your project. If you don’t yet have an architect Chris can help guide you through the process of selecting a compatible design professional specializing in the architectural style you desire. When asked, he is anxious to explore various building materials and systems, helping achieve your project’s budgetary objective.
For local residents we like to hold weekly Homeowner/Architect/Contractor job site meetings to discuss your project. Many customer ideas and concerns are discussed in these meetings allowing us to satisfy those needs in a timely way. At times a specific subcontractor has questions of his own and will be in attendance. Here everyone can ask or answer questions related to that particular stage of construction. If you are an absentee owner, we like to maintain close contact through e-mail and by sending digital photos on a weekly basis.
Chris demands high quality workmanship from himself, employees, and subcontractors. He works closely with architects, engineers, and designers to assure each home is built to exacting detail and standards. It’s a pleasure working with unusual features and new products, building one-of-a-kind homes. Chris visits each job site daily and confers with the superintendent to stay abreast of progress. He especially likes to maintain a clean and orderly site. All of our construction projects are properly permitted and inspected by local Building Officials. Our subcontractors are properly licensed and insured. For utmost Customer Satisfaction we will closely supervise your project eliminating wasted time or money and assuring timely completion and excellent workmanship. The primary objective is to provide our customers the highest quality home building experience we possibly can. Close supervision is key.
If you are a customer who knows and appreciates superior materials and workmanship, demands credibility and integrity, seeks a contractor whose sincere interest is making the home of your dreams into a satisfying reality, our construction process will leave you very well satisfied. You will have a home you, and all of those who worked on it, are proud of, and also the satisfaction of knowing you were treated fairly, received an excellent value, and your money was well spent.
Please contact us to discuss your next project. We look forward to working with you!
